I liked that it was close to the golf course (Walton Heath), easy to get to from London Gatwick, and very tidy.
good location, Reigate not a bad night out!
Overall it was good value for money. However, if the price were to be 220% higher I would probably have looked at alternatives.
The staff did not look particularly happy and certainly the bedroom staff seemed unfriendly, not even saying good morning. Also, given the space in the bathroom the shower cubicle is ridiculously small.
After a 2 million pound refurbish I expected more. The ceilings were unfinished, electric in the bar aged, the balcony was in a poor state, the facia was falling off, there was an old car exhaust, old sofa seats and pallets outside under the balcony, more like a butlins than a hotel!!
The staff were very helpful 8 of us really enjoyed our stay
Value for money was exceptional, the rooms are large they have great facility's and the balcony looking over Reigate hill make it lovely! Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends either for a nice stay away or for families alike
Nice large room with balcony, comfortable bed plenty of very hot water and friendly and helpfull staff. Very handy for M25.
Shortage of wardrobe hanging space. Only one chair in room.
the proximity of Reigate where I was visiting relatives
I cannot comment on this as I used it as a bed and breakfast for my purposes. It would not be a suitable hotel to spend more than 2-3 nights in owing to its situation regarding Gatwick and M25
Very welcoming and comfortable would certainly come back.
The car park for disabled people was very bad underfoot and the bottom car park was too far for me to walk
Acces from M25 convenient for city/country access
Layout of the hotel, room to reception, bar etc.
All staff were polite and helpful and the location is very convenient
it was annoying that there was no hot water in the afternoon i was there
convenient to Reigate, easy access from M25.Value for money, inexpensive.
access off Reigate Hill not easy.
I enjoyed the warm reception from the Manager in charge - a lovely Polish man. He allowed us to move rooms due to noise from two weddings during the weekend we stayed. I also liked the large rooms, extra coat hangers provided, nice clean bathroom and the breakfast service and food was fantastic. Overall the hotel was well thought out and very comfortable to stay in for the price.
Room had a slight odor of cigarette smoke and the bathroom fan did not seem to work.
I was in a single room. It had a smell and was depressing.I did not like it at all and asked to be moved. It also had a window which did not lock. The second room was a lot nicer but the bathroom was absolutely freezing cold. The hotel walls are very thin and its possible to hear everyones TV's and people walking past at all hours and noisy footsteps on the staircase nearby going down to next floor. The area around room 34 is freezing cold in the corridors and the hotel has a damp smell about it. The bar prices are very high too...£4 for a bottle of lemonade!!!!
I had not stayed before, I found the hotel had good access to M25, the staff very friendly, the single room I booked was comfortable, and the breakfast i booked was a continental with toast was good value, I would stay again when in the area.
The parking was a little tight when I returned to thye hotel in the evening.
